I seem to smiling quite a lot these days last week it was when 70 scientists along with a few passengers were trapped in Ice in the summer months in the Antarctic this week I am smiling at how so called environmentalists are banging on about (sigh) wind turbines and how they love them. I retorted by saying that I would be coming over to make him the 'neighbour' from hell when he invited anyone to come over and build one across from where he lived.
However, I also said that solar energy is far better and as I have had them fitted for nearly two years now I can safety say that between the two Solar beats wind turbines by a large margin. Of cause the so called environmentalist came, back with an expected dig at me that actually the reason that I had them was Money. Well of cause it’s about money I replied Well if you fools are going to plum for something that will save me a small fortune because of a now none existent global warming I say bring it on with a big thank you. You had your uses after all. Cheers.
The trouble with so called environmental people and we see it quite a lot is the fact that they see themselves as knights in shining armour talking the talk and even going to environmental rallies driving, flying, using all the bad and nasty commodity's that they are protesting about we see it every day don't we? However, we never actually see them doing anything positive for the environments do we.
They never seem have solar panels fitted or buy the most modern heating boiler that is good for the environment or fit their homes with the most updated equipment that makes their homes environmentally friendly. They cannot do as they never advertise the fact that they have and by their own environmental dogma if they did have these sort of things they would by all accounts be shouting it from the rooftops to show us all how good they are. That very fact alone says that they are a hypocritical species of human beings.
One other thing we see about these so called environmental knights in shining armour is the fact that they are not bothered about the birds or the bats that are killed. Which seems rather funny to me considering that birds and bats are part of our environment and that millions are killed each year by the very structures that they advocate for the very environment that we live in?
However, they don't seem to care. In fact, they come out with statements like this one Indeed, wind turbines kill almost as many birds in one year as house cats kill every hour. Yes, you read it right cats kill almost as many birds a year as cats do every hour.
Well I don't actually care how cats kill birds it’s in their very nature to kill birds along with mice and other rodents they have been doing since cat species came into existence so don't tell me that that is a valid argument. However when you stick up a fleet of blinking wind turbines over 150ft high with wing spans of over 40 ft. long along the migratory path of birds you will kill millions of them you numbskulls.
Then we have the old routine about oil spills and high voltage electricity lines killing birds along with cars (yawn) an double (yawn) Notice the bit about oil thought you might and cars thought you might again which brings me to the point in all this.
When these environmentalists come on here and shout about wind or solar it’s not about actually saving the environment its actually about their fixation on the oil industry and the evil billionaire Koch brothers along with the evil Tea Party. After all if it was anything else they would be shouting from the rooftops about how they are doing their bit for the environment and the concern for the birds and other species that are killed every year and not even mention(yawn) the Tea Party or the evil billionaire Koch brothers the very fact that they don speaks volumes for their motives.
And by the way while we are talking about wind farms and wind turbines data released in Britain from the very people who run these monsters have revealed that three large wind farms in the UK only produced enough electricity to make a few cups of tea and at one point had to draw from the National grid to actual power them.
One Little Cheyne Court wind farm which consists of 26 turbines each of them 377ft high, produced 129KW of electricity that is the was equivalent to the boiling of just 43 kettles - or 0.002 per cent of its maximum capacity of 59.8MW. The cost of building this farm was £50 million that would have been mostly paid for by green taxes. Quite an expensive few cups of teas don't you think?
